New news startup targets ‘the Change Generation’

What do you think about this site? OZY.com is a new site with a mission of keeping younger adults (like you) informed without … um … stressing you out too much, I guess.

  1. It’s slick, but I am definitely too old for this. Which probably means it’s right on target for its demographic.

    I’m not sure it was a good idea to call the top news list at the center the Presidential Daily Brief. If you don’t know about the PDB that the U.S. president receives each day, you might think this section was all White House news, which it is patently not. If the target audience is one averse to typical news, will they know what this name refers to?

  2. I think this setup is great. I love vibrant photographs. However, I do not know if I would say that it is less stressful? While it seemed easy to navigate, I too found the President Daily Brief to be mis-titled. Like Alisson stated, it is easy to assume that this section is all about the White House, and evidently is not. I believe a site like this has potential.
